AT HPD SOFTWARE we create software for banks and finance companies that are involved in lending or factoring.

The company has been providing solutions to the industry for the last 20 years and we are the international market leaders in this sector. Our new software, Aquarius, is the next generation of finance system and has been designed to support any kind of lending or factoring product.

The software can either be run in-house or outsourced to a specialist unit at HPD’s Service Centre facility.
At HPD we have a low staff turnover and employ people who combine IT skills with in-depth knowledge of the finance industry. This enables us to provide clients with not only our software but also a range of complementary services to enhance their business.

Originally called Hill Price Davison Limited after some of its founding directors, HPD's focus has evolved from its original activity - that of providing IT consultancy services to a wide range of organisations - to its current core business as a specialist software provider to the financial services industry, particularly in the areas of asset-based and corporate lending.

HPD'S EVOLUTION:
• 1972: Hill Price Davison Ltd formed
• late 1970s: HPD provides accounting, distribution and manufacturing systems to customers of office automation company Wang
• 1982: HPD creates a custom-built factoring system for the Bank of Boston
• mid 1980s: HPD writes first complete factoring and invoice-discounting package – I-Factor – for the Bank of Ireland
• 1986: I-Factor’s functionality made available to other factoring and invoice-discounting operations
• 1999: HPD awarded Queen’s award for exports
• 2000: HPD opens Asia-Pacific regional office
• 2001: HPD launches Service Centre offering hosted ASP services over Internet
• 2004: launch of Aquarius, HPD’s ground-breaking new factoring system.
